How common is a false positive?

Im asking because I tested positive. But Im cramping a little like my AF is coming? Is this normal???

Not common.  People "think" they have them because they might start bleeding within a couple days of taking a test and they think it's their period when in fact it's a very early miscarriage aka chemical pregnancy.  The test would not show a positive if the hormone didn't exist.

A lot of people have what feels like period cramping shortly after they get pregnant. False positives are very uncommon.
