Was I wrong?

Last night my fiancé came home with a bouquet of flowers and a card and the card was for Mother’s Day and it said to the future mother of my children. I got angry because by giving that to me it’s like he’s just using me for kids or sees me as a baby maker. I made him sleep on couch and threw the flowers in the garbage. I called my friend and told her about it and she said she thinks I’m wrong because he was just trying to give me a sweet thoughtful gift for Mother’s Day to show me how much he sees me in his future. Was I wrong?
