Labiaplasty

Anyone ever have a labiaplasty due to extra skin? I’m going to get one because I get recurring UTI’s, it hurts to have sex sometimes because they get pulled in, and I can’t wear a bathing suit without you seeing my labias. Hoping my insurance will cover some of the costs.

i have. i shared with another woman on here my story and i can pist the screenshot if you want to read through. insurance will cover it as long as it is deemed medically necessary and in your case, it does sound medically necessary considering we have many parallels in our issues

Did you get the procedure done? I’m getting Labiaplasty (both sides) and Excision of scar on the 30th. Really looking for any tips for recovery and how things turned out for you?

So “Labiaplasty” is considered “plastic surgery” and most insurances will not cover plastic surgery. But I got my Labiaplasty done but it was considered “medically necessary”, I have Medicaid due to being disabled and they covered the complete cost of everything!

One of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. For me the post procedure was painful because I can’t take pain meds, but it was SO worth it. I’m extremely happy with the results. I feel clean. It feels like it also fixed my leaking. After having kids I would leak. No more odors.
