My boyfriend wanted to buy his best friends wife a Mother’s Day gift! And I kind of felt some type of way, kind of weird because he doesn’t have a child with her.

Seems weird to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve never known a man that bought Mother’s Day gifts for someone other than his partner, family members (mom, grandma etc) or in laws

I assume she’s a mother. Has he known her a long time (5+ yrs)? I find it completely normal. That’s what we do in my circle of friends. It’s just a nice gesture nothing more nothing less.

My husband got a mother’s day gift for one of my best friends, and one of his best friends wife. 
His coworker makes personal cheesecakes  and he ran a special for 4 cheesecakes. He chose 2 for me, and 1 for each of them. He didn’t go out shopping but still thought of them to share with.

Is this normal?
