Was your MFM there for delivery?

I just found out there is a separate delivery team at my hospital and my MFM is rarely on call to deliver. Is that how MFM docs work in your experience?

My MFM only attends if you deliver early at the high risk hospital. Otherwise it's my OB at the closer hospital, which is fine with me!

My MFM essentially tells my OB what’s happening and my OB does it. Lol 
Example, my MFM will tell my OB when to deliver the babies and my OB will be the delivering dr. I kinda wish my MFM delivered. I love her!! Lol
