A girl private messaged my boyfriend that she thinks he is cute in a picture. This was 2 months ago. I read his messages and after arguing with my boyfriend about it he finally admitted that he thinks she was flirting with him but didn't realize it at the time. He still talks to her and she is always commenting on his posts and he responds back. He is always heart reacting her posts and vice versa. She lives 2 hours away and he has never met her but it upsets me that he would still associate with someone online who he even admitted was flirting with him. Would this upset you?

It’s not necessarily cheating in my eyes, but he is baiting her and giving her more reason to tag along. He’s disrespecting your relationship and feelings and if she sees that, she won’t respect the relationship. So, either way it’s not a good thing that he’s doing. If it makes you uncomfortable then he should stop in regards to your feelings.

This is not necessarily cheating, but the intent is present and he’s leaving the door open for her (and likely others) to throw passes at him.

I think it’s cheating in some form. He’s just building this relationship up with someone he doesn’t even know. It seems like he likes the attention from her. If it bothers you and he knows that and he continues to let it happen then he doesn’t really care about you that much it seems. I would definitely not be okay with that 🤭

I think a lot of people are making full on assumptions in this post like "if he does x then he doesnt actully love you". Personally, it would bother me a little bit, but you need to handle it in a mature way otherwise you're pushing him away even more. You need to be calm and not start a fight about it otherwise he will shut down and not actually hear you. Just tell him straight up, this really bothers me and hurts me when you talk to her because it makes me feel disrespected. And if he then goes and says "I dont care" then that's a problem. But being "end relationship" upset about a girl liking some posts and commenting and then him replying is overreacting.

Yes. Accepting a compliment is one thing but personally if I knew a man wanted me I wouldn’t keep him around out of the respect for my partner. I think the fact your man responds to her flirting & is heart reacting her stuff he’s basically enabling it & if not cheating already is heading down that path. That’s my opinion though.

To a degree it would upset me if he knows you feel this way he should just block her is he knows and doesn’t want to block her it’s a lil sus 🤔
