How did you find going from 1 to 2 children?

Husband and I have discussed having another baby BUT I am so nervous for so many things! So many people say harder but had a conversation with people yesterday and everyone said easier? Opinions? 😊 Our son is 19 months right now.

I think the second baby is easier because you know what to expect, but caring for 2 kids at the same time is obviously harder than one. 
My boys are only 18 months apart. Having a newborn for the very first time was a HUGE adjustment. Having a newborn for the second time everything came naturally, so the initial adjustment was honestly easier, especially with my husband doing the majority of the work with our toddler the first couple weeks. 
But just because the adjustment was less of a shock the second time does not mean it’s easier to have two kids. It’s definitely not.

It was harder for me to go from 1-2. Only because it was hard on my 3 year old. She had a hard time sharing me. She still does as I’m sandwiches between my two girls as they sleep. 
But once she adjusted and I did it for easier. It’s easier to take care of the baby because you already know how. But recovery was harder after birth because you have your other child to care for too. Also it was hard to give my body up again to another human after feeling like it was finally mine. But all worth it!

Its easier taking xare of the baby because you have some idea of what you are doing. Keeping up, packing, changing 2 bums, and car trips are the tough part for us. My 2 yo always wants to play when im feeding the newborn. Lol

It’s definitely easier going from 1-2 then 0-1.  You aren’t as worried all the time. But it is physically harder because now you have 2 kids. The bond and love that my boys have is truly amazing and they are 3 years apart.
