Anyone else planning to have a natural birth?

Question

I’d like to be strong enough to have a natural birth but I won’t know how much i will be able to handle till the day comes. I’m just sick of people telling me I’m nuts or that I’m trying to be tough as if I’m trying to prove something.
If  any of you have had a natural birth already, please share your story... if you don’t mind. Thanks!

Ive given birth with an epidural and without it. My natural birth was soooo much easier than with the epidural. I plan on doing it naturally again.
Everyone’s experience is different though so just be open to options. A healthy mom and baby is the most important thing! 😊

I had a natural birth no epidural. Feels very empowering. I had him in 15 minutes.

I had a natural birth on accident. I was in the middle of him trying to put in my epidural when I had to push. I literally went from 2cm-10cm in two hours. I figure this time if I get Induced I’ll probably get one, but I did great without one as long as I was moving around. If I go natural I’ll either try to not get one or I won’t have time lol

I've had 3 drug free births and planning on my 4th this July. I will tell you that for me the key was a doula iv you can afford one do it.

I wanted to see what it was like with my first and thought it be interesting to see just how hard and painful it really gets..... I eventually hit my point and asked for an epidura! I’ve always handled pain well but this was toooo much haha, this time I’ll ask for it once I’m allowed

Did all natural with my daughter at 37 weeks, the key for me was just remembering that the contractions usually didn’t last more then a minute and that after a certain point they don’t get stronger. I purposely ignored the clock, I didn’t want to have a concept of how long I’d been in labor. My water broke roughly around 3 pm, I didn’t end up having her until 9 am the next day cuz she got stuck at 9 cm for the longest time. However, I am quite embarrassed by my lack of being able to control my screaming..I really felt bad for whoever was in earshot of me!

If it's an option where you are you may want to look into a water birth, or at least labouring in warm water. That's my plan, I've heard it helps a lot with the pain and can help reduce tearing.

My son was natural but we didn't have time. From my first contraction to him on my chest was 2 hours and 20 mins. My midwife asked if I wanted anything for pain and I said I'm open to epidural and when they checked me they said there was no time and took me into the delivery room. 
Honestly, he is three years old and I don't even remember the pain so if you do choose natural the pain you forget about but remember everything else. 😁
