Soft serve ice cream?

I’m almost 7 weeks. Is soft serve ice cream bad??? I just had a float made with soft serve  freaking out just a bit!!!

I eat it. I also eat cold sandwiches. You have the same low risk of listeria with fruits and veggies as well.

Don’t freak out. It’s happened now and most likely it will be fine. Generally pregnant women are not recommended to eat soft serve ice cream because if the machine is not cleaned correctly, it can have listeria. If the establishment was clean then it’s likely to be fine. In the future stick to ice cream that is scooped out of the tub if you want to be extra safe.

My sister-in-law was told no soft serve, I was not told to stay away. It has something to do with how well the machines get cleaned out daily. There is a risk of listeria (I believe) in poorly cleaned ones. I ate it.
