Sunscreen?

I am going to a festival next month. I am anticipating lots of sun. I read somewhere that sunscreen does soak into your blood stream. What is a good pregnancy-safe sunscreen?

I’ve got to do some more research as well bc I not only am I worried about chemicals but I’ve also read that sunscreens are killing our coral reefs. And it done matter if you live by the ocean or a lake, don’t matter wether you wash off at home either bc it all goes down the drain and gets there :( so yeah I’d like to find one safe for me and my kiddos skin and safe for the environment too.

When I was pregnant I decided to use a couple of different baby sunscreens on myself to see which ones I liked the most. Chemical sunscreens are definitely bad whether or not you’re pregnant, so look for mineral based sunscreen that uses non-nano zinc and/or titanium dioxide. My favorite baby sunscreens are Thinkbaby/Thinksport and Blue Lizard. I used Thinkbaby on my babymoon in Hawaii and didn’t get burned at all. One of my favorite face sunscreens is Cotz face because it’s slightly tinted and leaves a really smooth matte finish that I love using as a primer under makeup.

YoungLiving is good.  I’m the same way, sunscreen can be so toxic. Theres no way I’m putting shit store bought stuff on me. People need to understand and research more.
