why am i late?

so my period was due today, haven’t gotten it yet (i know there’s still time, but i usually get it the night before my expected period..). i had my wisdom teeth taken out on april 24th, and ended up with a gnarly infection. my doc prescribed me clindamycin, but i stopped taking it last tuesday. is this why i’m late?

I wouldn’t consider you late yet, but medications can make you late. I’m not sure if you’re sexually active and on the pill, but if you are, be aware that some antibiotics can make the pill not work as well. Just FYI.

You arent late. Just wait idk why you're freaking out over being less than 24 hours late. Did you have sex cuz antibiotics can make birth control ineffective. If that's your worry. An infection in your body can throw off normal functions too. Relax.
