Supplementing Formula

My son is too fussy to nurse right now. I want to give him some formula, then I’ll just pump after. He seems to do better with bottles when his teeth are bothering him and I don’t have enough pumped milk to give him right now. He’s 7 months old. How much formula is typical to give a baby of his age in place of a feeding?
