So today I had my implant taken out, which I’m very happy about. I am seriously hoping my anxiety levels will go down 🤷‍♀️

Ive been taking the pill for the last 6 weeks or so, just after my 1st appointment about my implant removal. It’s meant that I was completely protected as soon as the implant came out....

I’m still taking the pill as the doctor said it’s fine to take 3 months at a time, and then have a break...

But I’m not sure what to expect now the implant is out... whether I’m likely to have a breakthrough bleed of some kind?

The doctor that took my implant out today, was very brusque, and it felt like he couldn’t wait to get me out the surgery... nice enough guy, but didn’t feel like I could ask 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

How has anyone else found it? Having their implant taken out?
