Honestly probably too many. He may not like the specific brand you got. It’s better to buy a couple and then more after baby is born. 
I’m breastfeeding but we got a gift set of glass bottles so we have four bottles right now. I won’t get anymore unless he doesn’t like the bottles.

My son was strictly formula fed and I managed with 5 so I think you’re good. I hated having them just sitting dirty they get all crusty so the less you have the more you wash imo 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had 3 from the time my baby was born.  He’s now 1. The more bottles, the the more cleaning.

I think you have plenty. Maybe close to too many u less you’re breastfeeding. But at least you want have to wash bottles as often

I got a two pack of 8oz bottles gifted to us from my shower, and then I bought four 4oz bottles from Target and that's all I plan to buy.
