Which would be better/easier?

Me and my husband have decided that we don't want anymore kids after this one. I've considered getting my tubes tied after I have our son (im due in less than two weeks) but I've had a few people say it would be better if he got a vasectomy. Im slightly leaning towards just getting my tubes tied since I could have it done after giving birth just to get it all done. I know my husband is fine with whatever, but we aren't sure if we'd get insurance coverage if we were to have him get his procedure. And I'm not completely sure on Florida's laws for me getting my tubes tied. I'd like to hear pros and cons for both to kinda help me out with decieding, im due soon and would like to have it decided before I have to give birth.

If you’re serious about not wanting anymore kids, get your tubes removed. It’s called a bilateral salpingectomy and some GYN’s have began doing those strictly rather than the tying of the tubes. 
When you get your tubes tied you risk hormone disruptancies, ectopic pregnancies, having them become untied, etc. There are so many risks, unlike having your Fallopian tubes removed. 😃

Talk to your OB as soon as possible if you want tubes tied. I think they make you wait a set amount of time before doing it just to make sure you don’t decide to change your mind.

I voted vasectomy but really neither for us. We know a couple that is about to have their third and unplanned baby... he had a vasectomy over two years ago but somehow it wasn’t full proof. I don’t want him to go through it if there is the chance it’ll fail and neither of us want me to have to have that major surgery either. Our rhythmic method works well for us and we are okay with “accidents” if that’s gods plan

Nothing is %100 I have an aunt who got her tubes tied and ended up pregnant with her 4th kid and I have an “cousin” (not sure if actual cousin or just “cousin”) that had a vasectomy and had to get it done a second time after getting his wife pregnant  (and yes DNA test and doctor proved he could have a kid and that he did)

Personally for us, I'm getting my tubes tied after this one. Hubby is fine with either, but for a vasectomy he would need to continue to go back to make sure he still wasn't fertile, and I just know with how busy we are one of those checkups would get missed and we'd end up being the 1 in 200 case 🤦‍♀️

Its safer and easier for him to get a vasectomy however if youre aure Id say get the tubes tied. I am doing this in September mainly because my husband is terrified to get his "junk cut" as he calls it. 😒
