Uppababy Vista: Opinions?

As a single? As a double? Is it a good buy?
We’ve found with many baby items so far (we have one baby and one on the way), that it’s best to buy the best we can afford upfront rather than try to compromise with cheaper things we eventually replace. We also plan on having more than 2 children, so we’re willing to put some money into baby convenience, if it works and is reliable.

I will be getting the vista and Mesa car seat. I am pregnant with our first and we hope to have second close in age so we wanted a single to double stroller. I am same as you would rather get the best option instead of something that will need to replaced a bunch. Also function and ease of use are very important to me and are worth any cost. I did a lot of research and went to buy buy baby and tried my top single to double stroller options and the vista was hands down my favorite. I am petite and not the strongest and was able to use it easily alone. Clicking the bassinet, Mesa car seat and regular stroller seat in couldn’t be easier and it moved like a dream. I’m excited to get it closer to my due date and use with baby girl!

My baby is due in a few short weeks and we decided to invest in the Vista.  I loved it in the store and everyone I see with it says the same thing.  Hopefully when I get to use it I love it as much!

I agree 100% with your mentality on baby gear. It’s been my experience as well.  I have the vista and absolutely love it.  One of if not the best purchases ive made so far.

We love our UppaBaby Vista.  We bought the Mesa infant seat and used the whole system together a lot!  It is on the large side when folded so make sure you have the space in your car.  The bassinet is lovely and I had no fears of baby sleeping in it because of the  ventilation.  Now DS is 14 months and we use the seat and he loves it.

We plan on getting it once our amazon 15% off completion is available on our registry. I have a ton of mom friends who have said it’s the best investment ever. My mom thought I was crazy for registering for something so $$ but once I sent her videos and told her how useful it was to transition into baby #2 , she was quickly on board ☺️

I would look into the baby jogger select and the silvercross wave. We will be purchasing one of those when and if we decide to have another baby soon

I didn’t like the vista for the fact that the toddler seats weren’t the same size or held the same weight. It made it so that the very front child had to be the youngest/smallest, while the eldest/bigger child had to be closer to the handle bar. We went with the joovy qool since all seats hold up to 50/55lbs, has over 50 configurations and can accommodate like 9 different car seat brands. We absolutely love it though, it has all the same features/accessories as uppababy, silverctoss, baby jogger, etc but slightly cheaper cost. It’s also all welded metal frame and is SUPER durable, and handles very easily on all terrains. Going on a year of constant(almost daily) use it looks just as new as when I bought it.

We ended up with the Baby Jogger City Select because we wanted another child and the frame can handle two seats. And it was cheaper than the UppaBaby. But the frame also functions fine with just a single seat. We also have the bassinet (newborn) and the kickboard for our 3.5 year old, she occasionally likes to ride on it. I think my kid is one of the few 3+ year olds that still likes to sit in strollers. My 2 year old nephew refuses to ride in his. So you have to think about that aspect.
