Hypercoiled umbilical cord
Hi everyone I have been for autopsy results of my little girl I lost at 16 weeks in February they said I had a hypercoiled umbilical cord (basically my umbilical cord was super tight like a telephone cable so blood flow etc made it hard for blood flow etc) and this is why she has died. I also had a 16 week loss back in July last year with no known cause at that autopsy but there was no umbilical cord left to examine as I had to have a d and c due to retained placenta.
Has anyone else experienced this and gone on to having a baby?
I have been told the next time I try I need to take heparin injections and have aspirin from 6 weeks. Has anyone had these after miscarriages and gone onto having a healthy baby? X
