Does anybody have experience with ttc after getting mirena removed but still breastfeeding?

I’ve wanted to go ahead and remove my iud to start trying since my son will be turning 2 end of July. I would like to start trying beginning of July or August. I’ve already attempted the weaning process but it just doesn’t seem like he’s going to be completely weaned by that time.

For some reason I feel like me still breastfeeding will make it more difficult for me to conceive even though I’m having fairly regular cycles and knowing when I’m ovulating.
