When were you able to?

Hello moms, i have a random question lol but when were you able to wear your own comfy clothes and shower? Im pretty sure the first day im going to have to and want to be in my hosptial gown also when do they make you walk around after surgey?

I had my c section in the early morning and was showered and in my own clothes by 10am, I was desperate to get home! 😂

I stayed in the hospital gowns while in the hospital. I only put on my own clothes when we left to go home. I'm 19 days pp and still refuse to wear pants unless I'm leaving the house. As for showering, I took one the next day. When I got home I took one every 2-3 days and now I take one every 1-2 days. 
I'm slowly working on my stamina. My energy is dedicated to taking care of my baby girl and making sure that I eat and get enough rest to heal. 🤷

They tried to make me walk that evening (she was born at like 1:30pm but I told them no lol. I wore the hospital gown the whole time until I had to leave and I ended up wearing a maternity dress because pants were a hard no for me. I was terrified to take a shower but did so the next day with a lot of help. Just do what you’re comfortable with! And congrats!!

Answer

I had my csection in the early morning, I was able to be up and walking that evening. As soon as the catheter was out I was able to put on clothes. I showered the next day though.
