Depo Shot

I recently stopped the depo shot in Aug and it's been a month since I've been off it and I just started my period because I never had it when I was on the shot. Idk if I should go back on it or stop taking it. I've been getting the shot since Dec 2013. A part of me wants to stop taking it cause it's been a while since I had a period and I'm also trying to get pregnant. Any suggestions?
