April 2018, I took the depo shot. My first period was heavy but short. Thereafter, it was spotting for the next 4 months for about 6 days. As the shot wore off, however, I started to spot for 14+ days at a time. The longest was 22 with a few days where there was nothing at all but most days, spotting or light bleeding. I started taking the pill in mid March, and almost all of April I didnt bleed at all. I think I spotted the first few days.

I’m still trying to find a doctor and I feel fine aside from bleeding constantly, so I struggle to shill out the money that’s going to come from a dr visit.

I was just wondering if anyone else had struggled like this or knew anything about it from friends, relatives, etc. I was kind of pushed to do the shot by the nurse I saw when I asked for pills instead and did this pretty blinded. Only until my period started going to hell did I look into it and see that a lot of women have had prolonged side effects from the shot, even just one.

Edit: As of May 15th, I’ve been spotting/light bleeding for about 10 days.
