34 weeks with contractions
Hi, (I've posted this in nov bumps too as my dd is arange from 31st oct - 3rd nov)
Has anyone else had anything like this?
I'm 34 weeks and had contractions for 24 hours. Been put on a drip and had progesterone patches and supositories. Been given shots of surfactant to help babies lungs develop.
Cervix is closed and contractions seem to be reducing now with the progesterone but still feel crampy.
Been told I have to stay in till tomorrow at least for monitoring. If real labour begins they will so c section as I have previous abdominal complications so need one anyway and if they contractions stop then will probably be on bed rest for the week.
Just want to know if anything similar has happened with anyone else and what the outcome was?
