Don’t want to have sex when I haven’t shaved?

Question

So here’s the tea I want to get bikini waxed which means growing the hair out but I don’t want to have sex while I can’t shave. I’m sure that seems ridiculous to some but I don’t even like being unshaved as a personal preference so I definitely don’t want him seeing me that way either. He is annoyed because he says he doesn’t care and wants to anyways. Now I’m second guessing if I should even get it done even though I really want to because I know this is just gonna turn into him pestering me about it. We usually have sex daily and I’d have to wait two weeks so I can see his frustration. Should I just give in since he genuinely doesn’t care? Or should he be able to wait seeing as it makes me uncomfortable? Advice pls

Of course you shouldn’t do something you’re not comfortable with BUT I think it’s strange that you’re so against it. Hair is natural. Women have had it since the beginning of time. He is okay with it so I only hope one day you too can accept your normal bodily functions :)

I mean normally I would say you shouldnt do something you dont want to do. But personally I felt the same as you are describing. then, I dont know what happend, but my partner and I just really wanted to do it and I told him I wasnt shaved and I didnt like it, he asured me that it didnt matter so I gave in and did it anyway. After his reaction to it (turns out it turns him on a little more) I started not to care as much and I just felt much better about the whole situation. 
But if you are really unconfortable with the situation, the right thing would be for him to understand and just wait a little.

You know if you decide to wax regularly you will have hair down there every time you grow it out to get waxed...it only stays hairless for a couple of weeks (if that)

I completely felt the same way, but after the first Brazilian I had, totally worth it!!! It’s a whole new level of silky smooth and it kind of makes me feel like I have a sexy secret. Plus, the hair grows back slower with a finer, softer tip on regrowth (no prickles), and over time with multiple consistent waxing sessions some hair doesn’t grow back because the follicle gets weakened and damaged. My regrowth is now A LOT more thinned out compared to before waxing. My esthetician said it’s due to the small scarring below the surface where the hair is removed (ripped) from the follicle. If the follicle scars, or no longer produces hair. As for being uncomfortable with your fella, trust what he’s saying!! If he says it’s all good either way, believe him. And of course if it’s just not on your agenda to have sex while sporting some hair, don’t do it. I just suggest weighing it all out and then be up front with him regardless. Either way, keep the lines of communication open.

Obviously don't EVER do anything you don't want to do. But I guarantee you, by your 30s, you'll wonder why you were so self conscious in the first place (especially when you're with someone you love and trust). If you're 30+ now, then I hope you realize soon how amazing and sexy you are with or without hair! Own it girl! Confidence is sexy!
Ps, waxing is GREAT (and totally worth it if you don't want hair). However, there is a regular grow out period. Which means if you refuse to be intimate unless you're totally bald, then you will be regularly be going weeks without sex.

Girl I used to be like this until I told my boyfriend one time that I didn’t wanna do anything because I needed to shave. He laughed and said he didn’t care. I still understand where you’re coming from. I like to always be shaven but sometimes it doesn’t work out like that. Honestly the comments to this poll make me worried about the world. The reason some of you don’t/won’t have sex when you have hair is because you’ve been brought up to be insecure about it. That’s not natural. Having hair and accepting that you have hair at some times (if not all) is natural. Not having hair naturally means you are pre-pubescent. So I’m not sure why society taught you that it’s the only ‘sexy’ option. I like to keep myself trimmed out of comfort but damn even that’s hard when pregnant. How are you going to cope when you can’t reach it to shave 🤷🏼‍♀️

Honestly, I was the exact same way before I started waxing. Now I don’t really mind the in between waxes growth. I do t love it, but in my opinion, waxes arebso much better than shaving. And my husband doesn’t care at all. It’s worth a try, and if you don’t like it, shave on!

When I’m in between waxing underwear stay on and he’s not allowed to look down unless we are in doggy position. I know he doesn’t care but I do. I understand hair is natural but I’m not ok with it lol he just laughs and he’ll tease me about it but I know he just likes to mess with me about the bush lol

I hate having sex when I’m not shaved!!! Luckily my husband doesn’t pressure me to it. If you don’t want to have sex then don’t. I personally can’t imagine having sex if I didn’t shave.
