Cry when my boyfriend leaves?

I have been dating my boyfriend for 1 year and 3 months. In the beginning whenever he would leave I'd cry a little but I knew I'd see him in a few days so I'd eventually be fine. We've seen each other every week since we got together at least 2-4 times a week (sometimes more) Yet, I'd say 75% of the time I still cry when he leaves even though I know I'll see him within the next few days. Does anyone else get like this when their S/O leaves?

I used to.. but we've been together for 5 years now so that phase is over.  It's normal! I was probably that way for 2 or 3 years 😊

When my boyfriend and I started dating we would go weeks without seeing eachother due to me being in college and him on strict free time hours at the farm. I never cried I just looked forward to the next time I saw him. After a semester I had became a commuter (shame to say becausw I wanted more time with him) we saw eachother more often. This went to about 1- 2 times a week. Then eventually it was every day and now we live together and were pregnant and this is when I cry when he leaves for work 😂😂😂

I dont cry but i get sad even tho we see each other everyday at work we cant talk in there cuz they have a strict rule about dating and we live 30 mins away from each other so we only see each other every other day

I used to cry every time my husband would fly back to his duty station our first year of marriage( 1st year we spent about 2 months actually together total the entire year). Now I don't cry, I get sad, but don't cry.

Same here, my boyfriend works on base an hour away and since I’m a full time student we plan to see each other every weekend. It could be an hour or two before he leaves and I’ll just start crying because I know that I’m going to miss him. He’s a champ though and tries to make me laugh to get over it, but I know it must make him feel bad.

I do, my SO worked out of town all week when we first started dating so I would only see him on the weekends. & even after a year together he would go out of town for 2 or 3 days for work & I would cry cuz I knew how much I was gonna miss him!
