Are prenatal vitamins sold in stores?

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has found any prenatal vitamins on the store shelves? I'm almost 5 weeks pregnant and will not be able to see my OB for another 3 weeks. I know the OB will proscribe me a RX, but I kinda want to be proactive during the first  stages of development.

I got the One A Day brand prenatal.. they r awesome.. no bad taste, no upset stomach, and they are like gel caps.. super easy to take

Yes you can get them at stores  just make sure they have the folic acid in them

I actually went to GNC and talked with a rather large man that worked there. He told me a couple good brands.  But more than that, he told me what to avoid!  I was asking about energy and good vitamins to help not get sick, and he told me that my body will do what it needs to do, and it it needs to sleep, that I should listen.  He said lots of vitamins and other medicine can be bad- not dangerous, just not good for baby. He was awesome!

Yes! Every grocery store and pharmacy has a collection of them. Most grocery stores have them by women's vitamins, but target keeps them in the family planning section (by pregnancy tests)
