At what age did your baby start sleeping longer stretches at night?

I have a 9 and a half week old who still only sleeps 4 hours in one long stretch, followed by 2 hours then 1 hour. Wondering when he will start sleeping 6+ hours in a row? We're following the eat, play, sleep routine during the day so I'm hoping it will help. He still eats every 2 hours, plays and then naps 30 mins fairly consistently. 🤷‍♀️ There was ONE night he slept 6 hours in a row last week and I got soo excited. Never happened since unfortunately!

I also have been doing the eat play sleep, maybe 30 min naps and eating every two hours. He sleeps in his swing and mostly will sleep from 1030-330, then about 4-630. But some nights he will wake up twice to eat. I have just started implementing a bedtime routine so we have both been a bit off time wise causing him to wake up at different times

6-7 weeks, I follow the eat, play sleep during the day. Also I wake him up to eat every 3 hours so he’s only napping for at the most 3hours at a time the longer he slept the longer I try to keep him engaged in between naps. Naps are finished by 8 bed time routine starts around 9:39/10 play, change, eat, read, change and put him to sleep he sleeps 6-8 hours a night

Mine is 7 weeks today. For the last 4 days she has been sleeping for more than 6 hours at a time.  She just woke up after 8 hours of sleep

My baby girl is 9 weeks old now, she has been sleeping 6-9 hour stretches for over a  month now. She will not nap during the day however. Maybe two 15 minute cat naps if I’m lucky. For me, I pump and give a 4.5 oz bottle before bed and she is out!!!

Since about 6.5/7 weeks most nights mine sleeps a 6hr stretch, then a 2 hr.

I’m not sure if it’s my daughter going through her 8 week leap or something else but she’s been doing 2 three hour stretches. Normally she does one 5 hour stretch then one four hour stretch, she’s up and awake by 7:30. She came into this “routine” at about 6 weeks

Totally depends on the baby and how you are choosing to sleep, mine started sleeping 8 hours at 7 weeks and the longest he's gone is 10 hours straight. If you're co-sleeping I find that nights can be more unsettled as each of you moving can wake each other up, if they have their own sleep space i found that they have a better sleep.

It totally depends on the baby! Both my girls were sleeping 7-8 hr stretches by 6-7 weeks but some kids don't until they're 2.
