Does pineapple really induce labor?

I’m 30 weeks and have been craving nothing but fruit especially pineapple. I’m talking like eating an entire pineapple. While it induce labor? I’m worried to eat more than a piece.

Some people say that the bromelain in the centre closest to the core can thin your cervix. But I’m not a doctor lol, and I also ate a lot of pineapple in my second trimester and baby is all good.

I’m pretty sure you’d have to eat a ridiculous amount of entire pineapples for anything to happen, so eat that pineapple if that’s what you’re craving! I craved and ate pineapple with my son plenty of times and he didn’t come out until 41 weeks 🙄
