Anyone else using EPO?

Was curious if any of you homeopathic women using midwives are using EPO?

I'm 36W5D, I'm starting the EPO now. I am also taking Dr. Christopher's Birth Prep-both upon recommendation of my midwife. The EPO softens the cervix as stated, the Birth Prep creates a strong uterus along with raspberry leaf tea, and I am also going to the chiropractor to make sure my bones are in good alignment to easily let the baby pass.

All of these things serve the function to ease labor and reduce the time you're in labor. As I am birthing at home, this is vital. However, even if you're birthing in a hospital it would be advantageous.

Not homeopathic and not using a midwife but I plan to start epo on Thursday when I'm 38 weeks.

Not homeopathic or using a midwife but j started using it after my 34 week appt at which my cervix was still closed. At my 36 week appt I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I have another appt this thursday so I'm anxious to see if I've progressed.

Update: just had my 37 week appointment and progressed from a 1 1/2 to a 3, 50-60% effaced, head low. Cervix nice and soft :)

How do you use it? Taking a pill or inserting it? Just curious! Also, will it cause labour or only soften cervix and what week could you use it safely in?

I will be starting next week at 36w. From what I know, it works to soften your cervix but doesn't put you into labour. You will only begin labour if your body is ready.

I used it both orally and vaginally for my second child. I haven't decided if I'll get checked at my 36 week appointment or not. Either way I'll probably start using it again at 38 weeks.
