2 under 2 struggles!

I have a 2 month old son and a 22 month old daughter...they are so stinking cute and I wouldn’t trade this job for anything...but dang is it hard!

My daughter and I have a virus (she has an ear infection, too) and my son had his well baby visit, so I packed them up to go to the doctor this morning. We had a blowout and spit up disaster as soon as we got there, and my nose is just a stuffy disaster. Too many body fluids at once! I muddled through an intense appointment (all the crying, all the shots) and then got us over to Walgreens to fill the Rx and stock up on everything anti-cold. The baby was crying, the toddler felt she needed a sucker and then got it stuck in her hair. By the time we got back home I was ready to drop dead!

I’ve held it together just enough to get my husband fed and out the door. Now I’m huddled in front of a space heater with a hot toddy. I put my daughter to bed half an hour early because I’m freezing cold! I’m feeding the little one, head pounding, off-boob leaking, and I am SO impressed with the way my mom made these days look so easy!
