Should I be concerned? TMI pic included

Currently 5 weeks 4 days . Been spotting and cramping all week . No red just brown. First pregnancy so I’m so emotional and concerned! No doc appt, due to insurance issues. Trying not to go to the hospital, to avoid a crazy bill. Not sure why it’s in the shape of an arrow⬆️! That kinda freaked me out as well. Is that a sign my baby is going to heaven?

I would still call your doctor and let them know, they may want to see you. If they do request to have progesterone levels checked as that can cause spotting and loss of not caught and treated in time.

You should be fine. I went to the er around 5 weeks because I was cramping (from a uti) real bad, they told me it was a hematoma and that it could pass or lead into a miscarriage. When I went to see the OBGYN the following week, the "hematoma" was gone. The OBGYN suggested then that it was most likely implantation bleeding. As long as it's not fresh blood and you're not filling up pads you should be fine.

I spotted brown from weeks 6 to 9 and everything is fine. I’m currently 22 weeks. I would avoid the ER, there is nothing they can do anyways. Are you able to at least call your doctor?

Brown blood is old blood. I spotted like that and I have a healthy 15 month old now :)

Spotting in early pregnancy is normal. Unless it’s red and you fill up a pad in an hour you should be fine. You can also go to planned parenthood in your city of you don’t have insurance. 💕
