Should I take birth control in the morning or night? Or does it matter?

So it’s my first time taking birth control and my gynecologist told me just to take it on my first day of period. But I’m kinda worried about the side effects so I took it at night. Does it matter if it’s morning or night? Help. Thankssssss

It doesnt matter. For some people it's better to take at night cause it can cause nausea and they can sleep thru it then.

It doesn’t matter as long as you take it at the same time everyday consistently. For me personally, taking it in the morning (or rather removing and inserting a new ring) is best. But idk it’s easier for me to keep track like because I only change it ever 4 weeks, but everyday, so just take them whenever you know you’ll be consistent with it.
