Do you think it’s okay to get drunk while watching your 21 month old son?

My boyfriend (baby daddy) thinks it’s aokay to get drunk while watching our son while I’m at work. I totally think that this is not okay and he shouldn’t be influenced by this at such a young age.

No. You cannot properly care for a child while under the influence.

Drunk? Absolutely fucking not. No one and I mean no one will watch my son if they are drunk. 
A drink? Sure, totally fine.

Not only should your son not be influenced by it at ALL- but alcohol impairs your judgement and reflexes so if anything happened to your son then your husband probably wouldn’t have known seriously what to do or wouldn’t have been able to fully analyze the situation.

That’s definitely not okay. He’d be under the influence of a drug while a child is in his care. That’s reason enough for child protective services to be involved.

Well how much does he drink a few or a lot? My partner and I drink with our daughter but we only have 1 glass of wine or 1 beer or 2.
