Progenity test wrong for gender?

Question

I just got my test results back yesterday when I had my blood drawn at 12w3d. Test results came back negative....thank goodness.... And also said boy (my third boy).  I started googling today the accuracy of the test and there is a 1% chance it could be wrong. There were a lot of moms on the forum that the test results came back boy but ended up having girls! I'm so worried now! Has this happened to any of you where test results said boy but ultrasound and birth said girls?

Should be right. 
I don't see how it could be wrong for a boy. You wouldn't have a Y chromosome since you're a women so of you blood shows a Y it's because your baby is a boy. 
I could see them being wrong with a girl since it would only show X chromosomes.

I was told by Progenity that it was a girl and my 20 week ultrasound just confirmed it! But I was scared to death going in to the ultrasound that it was wrong. Lol do you know how much pink stuff we've bought? 😉

I had mine done at 10 weeks 2 day. Said boy as well and will be my 3rd boy💙 I'm only 14+3 today so I don't know know if mine was right or wrong, but the less than 1% of it being wrong I'm going to trust it.

I know I'm so confused now but every mom it was wrong on said boy but had girls. 😕 I'm going next Friday to an ultrasound place to confirm. I'll keep you all updated!

Just have an ultrasound at 20 weeks to confirm that it's a boy if you're unsure.
