What should I do?

I’m not sure what I want to do with my delivery of my son....to deliver him vaginally of c section.
Let me explain why!
Ok my daughter, she was 8 pounds and 1ounce. I tore second degree, both of us contracted an infection when I was pushing, my uterus gave up contracting bcuz it was exhausted after two hours of pushing, my daughters head came out with it down and off to the side so she had to be delivered by foreceps and I was hemorrhaging and I lost 3 liters of blood. Surprised I didn’t get PTSD with what I went through.
The one I’m pregnant with his estimated weight is 8 pounds and 5 ounces. I’m not sure if I want to give it another try vaginally or just c-section.

Yikes!  That sounds traumatic. Are the chances of all of that happening again high?  I had 2nd and 3rd degree tears with my 7 lb 8 oz baby from him coming out too quickly. This time around my midwife explained different ways of allowing the perineum to stretch during labor. Maybe look into that. My personal opinion is that I’d try to go vaginal again if the chances of all of that trauma happening again are low. The size of your baby doesn’t scare me. My mom is tiny tiny and pushed out a 10 pounder. It’s really all of your complications. And from what I’m told from friends the recovery from a c section is horrid compared to vaginal. Go with your gut on this one.

Personally I would try vaginal delivery. My first was a c-section and recovery was hard but not terrible. I did have trouble bonding but there's multiples things that went into that. We just had our second Tuesday morning. I chose to attempt a vbac (I had really good odds). Unfortunately our little girl did not like being evicted and tried sticking her arm out instead of her head. We had to have a repeat c-section and recovery has been really hard as I try and chase a toddler around.
Most women will tear with their first. And the second time not so much. Your body knows what it's doing this time around. You know what to expect this time around.
