Homemade panty liners?

I recently made my own panty liners and they have Velcro to keep them on. I love them but they slide around or move away from where I want them to be (especially when wearing skirts). Other than making a change to my undies, do you have any suggestions as to how to keep them in place?

Add wings and try with buttons as well, I have a bunch of buttons and am also trying to make my own pads, there are lots of pages on Facebook to join and so much pretty fabeic

Can you tell me how you did this ? I just heard about people making their own pads & pantyliners because name brand pads use bleach & other chemicals that shouldn’t be near our vag.
