Opk help is needed

I’ve been trying the test strips for a month or so now and I’m just not getting the hang out it. I tested twice yesterday because that’s the darkest I’ve ever gotten and I know the test predicts a few days before. I guess my question is when should I BD or did I miss my opportunity?
