Is it weird if I go to an African hair braiding salon?

I really want to get my hair braided well, like by a professional because I really like the way I look with them. For the most part I know that black people braid really well.. usually, I’m not tryna be all stereotypical but I never seen a white people hair braiding salon and I sure as hell can’t braid lmao. Also I didn’t know where else to ask and I think this community is helpful and honest so I figured I’d just ask here. Anyways if you answer or comment, thank you!
