Should I report this?

This may or may not sound like a stupid question, but I’m a serious animal lover. My aunts cat just had five kittens about 2 weeks ago, but one died at birth due to unknown causes.

My younger sister went to our cousins house today and saw the kittens, but she came home and told me that my 4 year old cousin had taken one of the four kittens that were left and squashed the head and then threw the kitten down the stairs to its death.

Now my mother told me she was not even going to tell me because she knew I’d be so upset.

My aunt also has a history of having many many cats in the last few years, she gets a new cat and will spoil it for a few months, but after this honeymoon phase is over, throws the cat outside and abandon it.

I even once grabbed one of the cats she abandoned outside. It was freezing cold in the middle of winter here in Ohio.

She has had about 5-10 cats that she has done this to, but they have all disappeared from outside. My aunt didn’t take them back in, so I’m hoping someone snatched them up and have a better life.

My real question is.. is this enough information for me to report animal cruelty? And is there a way for me to do this anonymously so she doesn’t know it was me? Any websites I could do this on? I have no proof that she has had this many cats besides photos of them a few years ago, and because they have disappeared. Should I report the incident about my four year old cousin as well?

This bothers me deeply.
