Soo.. I came across this video on YouTube of an 8 month old already eating actual food. I feel like the shittiest mom ever. My little boy just turned 8 months old a few days ago and I'm still feeding stage 1 Gerber. I didn't start him on Gerber until 6 months old even though his pedi told me to start him on it at 3 months old, three times a day. He just wasn't interested in it at all and I read that it isn't recommended until 6 months, so I waited. I was thinking about slowly moving up to stage 2, but haven't because he hasn't even attempted to sit up on his own yet and because those stage 2 seem thicker to me and I don't want to upset his stomach cause idk why my head is telling me that they might be too heavy for him. Am I wrong? What could I feed him? What should he be eating at this stage? My sister in law was already giving her kid a full chocolate covered strawberry at around this age. I know.. I'm not gonna feed him chocolate covered anything AT ALL, but I can't help but feel like I'm a bad mom and like if I'm not feeding him what he should be eating already. Any advice helps.
