Period Pain Help!

I’m 16 almost 17 and today i had the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. I got my first period at fourteen and they have since been very heavy and painful. Today was no exception, I started my period but it wasn’t my standard period. I was screaming in pain. So I took my pain killers and Ponstan. Still, I was in excruciating pain. They weren’t my usual cramps which are bad enough. I literally wailed and cried. The best thing i could compare them to is what i imagine contractions would feel like (and before i get hounded no I’ve never experienced real contractions, it’s just what i would imagine). For the first time ever, I was nauseous and I vomited. I spent hours in a hot bath as that was the only thing that soothed my cramps. I’ve previously had an ultrasound and I don’t have any cysts. I was wondering if anybody would have any ideas of what may be wrong or how I can help soothe pain in future. Mum has endometriosis and her ovaries are fused to her bowels. She’s also had cysts in her ovaries and can only conceive through IVF. I am going to the docs so I’m not relying on u guys to diagnose me, just wondering if any of you have had similar experiences? Xx
