3-4 years of trying to conceive 2018 was finally our year to grow and experience pregnancy. It all came to a halt the night before my 16 week check up, I started to feel constipated and the need to really push and not thinking to much of it I went on the next morning with the same exact symptoms all to feel as if something was bulging below!! Got to my appt and my Ob/gyn told me I was 4cm dilated and that I potentially have a Incompetent Cervix 😢🙁 and that there was nothing they could do at this point but to admit me and wait for our little man to pass through! I never seen my husband cry as much as he did that day and it really hurt me to see him like that! I truly thought it was my fault and that I’ve failed him with being able to carry his child!! I would never wish infertility, infant loss, or miscarriages on anyone not even my worst enemy!

But this present day I’m elated that we’re blessed with this opportunity for a second chance and along some preventative measures all seems to be going great! My Husband and I are expecting again this time with a little baby girl and we couldn’t be more happier! I’ve made it to 16 weeks with cerclage in place 🙏🏾
