I have a 1.5 year old black lab who has been limping for a couple weeks with a swollen joint in his paw. I took him to the vet yesterday only to find out he has aggressive bone cancer in his leg (hence the swollen joint). The vet said he has like 6-8 weeks left before he will break his leg and probably need to be put to sleep. He said we could amputate the limb but the cancer moves fast and will spread to other parts of his body. I think we will just give him pain medication, love and spoil him for the next few weeks. I haven't stopped crying since yesterday morning and eating isn't easy. I am 22 weeks. I worry so much about the dog I don't feel like eating, which then makes me worry about our baby girl. I know me worrying and not eating well can't be healthy for her. It's just really awful news and I am heartbroken. My baby boy is too young to have cancer and die. 😢❤️🐶🐾
