If you use a menstrual cup, will you take it out to have sex?

I've been using my cup since January, and I've never been in a position to have sex with it in, until recently, I could have and I realized that I was pretty opposed to removing it to have sex even if I had wanted to have sex- like, to stop and go remove it, which I do not enjoy, would be a horrible turn off. I like having it in, so I don't even want it out when my flow is heavy. 
Is it because my sex drive has been so low?? Or will I never want to remove my cup for period sex? 
Just wondering what other people experience!

Soft cups hug the cervix while other cups sit high in the vagina. Hope this helps.

If it’s a soft cup you can have sex with it in. If it’s a silicon cup it’s not recommended!

just removed it for sex last night! i’m towards the end of my period so there was barely any blood. I have also had sex with it in but then it gets pushed really far up and sometimes also the tab to pull it out with gets wedged in sideways and it is really hard to get out. it is awkward to be making out and suddenly be like “i need to go take out my cup” but it’s never awkward enough to kill the mood or result in bad sex.

If it's silicone like the diva cup you can't have sex with it in, if it's one of the smaller disposable ones they're designed for you to be able to keep them in during intercourse.
