My boyfriends mom and I don't get along at all. We still respect each other and I never had a problem with her but she just seemed to never like me. I have never had this problem with bfs moms! I was always liked by parents... Except her! My SO have been together for 3 years but she just still seems to say rude things about me to him and she just clearly doesn't like me! What do I do? Just let it go? It bothers me so much though!

I would put my foot down and tell her the way that she treats you and talks about him makes you feel uncomfortable. Sometimes people do not know how you feel until you tell them. But if she continues after the talk. Then it's her problem not your as stay far away as possible.

My mother in law is like that. I had to have my husband tell her to back off because she would tell me I'm a horrible person and I'm fat and lazy ect. Which yes I'm over weight but I am not lazy!  So he did and she hasn't said anything to me since.

You've got to let it go.  There's nothing you can do.  It's up to him to put her in check and ensure no harm comes to your relationship.  I think mothers have a hard time letting go of their sons.  If the man spends a lot of time with you, he's spending less time with his mother, on the phone with his mother, or responding to his mother's texts.  At least that's what's going on in my relationship.  After we got engaged, I went out of my way to get to know her and for her to get to know me but it didn't do any good.  The first time we went to her house, she closed the door in our faces.  After that I still tried talking to her, invited and took her to lunch, invited her to dinner several times....all for nothing.

It your choice to have it for the rest of your life, I married my man, and if I was on fire, his 2 sisters wouldn't piss on it tour the fire out. 
They have physically attacked me. It's been over a year since the attack, and I have cut them out of my life, they are band from my husband and my house, we don't see them anymore, I see the younger one every now and then, she wasn't the attacker, but she still dislikes me for no reason. Too bad, their loss

Extend an olive branch and offer a girls day, lunch, shopping, pedicures etc. If that's what you're into. Offer to cover lunch if she covers pedicures, or just pay separately.

If it goes poorly, let it go. Enjoy your boyfriend, and your relationship, if it gets worse have your BF ask his mother to be more respectful.

It will be hard but I think you should have a talk with her. I had the same problem with my husbands family and I just kept trying to ignore it and pretend everything was okay. But after holding in all the things they said or did it all came to humongous explosion and all out yelling session. That nearly ended our relationship. Luckily we were all able to move past it (they forgave some nasty things I said) and it ended up allowing me to feel more comfortable expressing my feelings and being myself and now we are married. but it could have easily gone the other way and almost did. My sister in law and my mom had the same fight but now my brother and his daughter are not allowed to see my mom. It's better to confront your concerns early and calmly before it builds up too much. Just do it in a respectful manner and I'm sure it will be fine. Good luck!

Id just let it go at this point she's prolly not gunna change her mind about you and you've been together long enough you shouldn't let her ruin your relationship my mother in law loved me till my hubby and I got married

Maybe you can sit down and talk to her. Just let her know how you feel and let her know how much you love her son. Try not to be rude about it and hopefully that will change her mind about you. Good luck 😁😁
