Birth Control - Pill

I recently stopped taking my birth control (pill) at the end of its pack. My normal routine period would be coming next week Thursday or Friday per normal but I have had this week yesterday and today. Is this normal when coming off? What should I expect? Could it be spotting? I don’t remember what my periods were like prior as I have been on the pill for so long
