So my daughter is 10 months 20 lb and has a very bad cold and she’s been sneezing , coughing bad and at night it makes her not be able to sleep AT ALL. The doctors said it’s just a common cold so no worries about it being anything serious. But i was wondering what could i do to help her sleep . It’s not like she’s getting bad sleep, she’s getting NO sleep . She cries because she’s so tired but when she tries she starts coughing . I have a humidifier , baby Vic’s, warm apple juice to help the cough, and sucking out her nose . Any other suggestions ? Some of my mom friends said Benadryl because that helps with sleeping and allergic reactions so it would help her sleep with the cold but i don’t know... her doctor said Benadryl is good for allergic reActions but didn’t say for colds. During the day i don’t mind her coughing and sneezing it’s just the night i hate seeing her exhausted and crying because she can’t sleep 😭( I’m a first time mom)
