I had the simplest baby shower/ birthday dinner yesterday with my immediate family, husbands immediate family and close friends at one of my fave restaurants. We received lots of gifts. The best part of the evening was when my cousin in law gave me a gift that my mom had given her for her baby girl before she passed away almost 4 months ago. I was very emotional and thankful that I have something from my mom for my baby girl. I wished she was still here to see her, but I know she will be spiritually.
