First postpartum period

So I got my first period pp not this past Friday but that last and it’s still going 😅. Idk if it could be because of the birth control I’m taking or if this is normal? I’m taking the pill (yaz). Is it normal for me to bleed this long? It’s been pretty heavy and doesn’t seem like it’s slowing down at all
