Weaning?

Has anyone recently weaned or working on weaning their littles? My daughter is now 15.5 months and we are slowly weaning but I think I am ready to drop to once per day in the morning. It makes me so sad though😩 I don’t want my baby to grow up!

First I want to say how proud I am of you guys nursing your babies! 💪
My son had a slow transition from nursing and neither of us were ready. I got pregnant again when he was 7 months old and had no idea that it would affect my milk supply. By 10 months despite all efforts, I was completely dry. I’m still upset about it, but all I can do is keep that in mind for this next little guy. 
Again, I’m so proud of you guys. Wish we could still be on that journey!

My daughter will be 15 months in 2 days and we are not “weaning” at all but recently working on allowing my husband to put her down for bed (she is used to nursing to sleep). I have an out of town work event in two weeks and will be gone for two nights...... we’ve never spent the night away from each other (and nights are when she nurses the most) so I am currently folding clothes and listening to her scream in the other room while he is practicing getting her to sleep on his own. I am almost in tears. He is such a good daddy- don’t get me wrong. But she is used to having the boob to go to sleep. 😭
