Tension Alopecia

Zoe • Vegas Mama

I have a 17m old and I use to TIE her hair back EVERYDAY and I mean I used a comb, moose, hairspray, water, the whole ordeal! I just was raised to ALWAYS have you hair slicked back if you were leaving the house. But I noticed the sides of her hair still aren’t growing in great and it makes me worried about tension alopecia so I’ve sensed stopped tying it back. It’s just such a mess all the time and food gets in it and it’s just crazy! Any advice? Clips don’t work she immediately rips them out of her hair and I’ve tried doing loose pony tails but they fall out so fast and she isn’t exactly excited about getting her hair done every 2 hours while we’re out. SEND HELP!

Edit: in this photo I know her ponytail is messy already but that was after about 4 hours.. when I first put it all those baby hairs are slicked back but eventually they fall anyway
